REMANUFACTURED
with WARRANTY!!!
Why hesitate getting the best value by getting the exact same equipment, with original manufacturers warranty at a much lower price.
Q: What is considered factory Remanufactured?
A: There are lots of things that can label items factory remanufactured. Some are so frivolous, it's laughable. But because consumer laws prevent manufacturers from selling anything considered factory remanufactured as "new", the second consumer gets the best deal.
Q: What is the difference between New and Remanufactured?
A: Bottom line, its much cheaper and tested and if all benefits of buying a remanufactured products are the same as a new one even the warranty, the only "drawback" you would notice is probably a little label on the outside of the box or simply a brown box - So, think again, Are you shopping smart?
HERE ARE A FEW EXAMPLES
1) BRAND NEW overstocked items are labeled Factory Remanufactured by the manufacturer itself. They drop the warranties, to drop the price, and finish their excess stock to facilitate the launch of newer models. It doesn't make sense for manufacturers to sell the new pieces "as new" on a reduced price, as it instigates all their distributors to start claiming on the unsold stocks against the price protection factor.
All factory remanufactured products are inspected & serviced by the manufacturer then tested and repackaged to meet original product specifications.
2) Manufacturers / Distributors are not allowed to export outside their territory / country. To avoid "disturbing" the Dealer / Reseller channel in different countries, manufacturers and Distributors cannot export the product as new and therefore label it as remanufactured.
3) Items where the box or casing was damaged in shipment, which are returned to the manufacturer. The item was returned to the manufacturer because of a slight defect. The part that was defective was replaced by the manufacturer, tested and then repackaged just like new.
4) The item was returned to the manufacturer because of a minor cosmetic blemish on the casing that was corrected.
5) Demonstration units are also considered factory remanufactured. These units are inspected, tested and repackaged.
6) The box was simply opened. That's it!
Note: Remanufactured items have a much lower defect rate. From 10 units that come back for repair only 1 is usually a factory reman, because remanufactured units are tested before they are sold.
